EX Diamond - Pearl series Pokemon
Here is an article on EX Diamond - Pearl Pokemon Cards. I hope you find the information useful! Diamond And Pearl Base Set, released in May 2007, is the 33rd set of cards in the Pokemon Trading Card Game and the 17th set released by Pokémon USA. Its symbol is a circle in an upside-down pentagon. The set is the first in English-language territories to include fourth-generation Pokémon; namely, those that first featured in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl video games on the Nintendo DS. Several new rules were introduced to the Pokémon Trading Card Game with the release of Diamond And Pearl in Japan, and several changes have been made to the format of the cards; some of these changes were included on previous card formats, and others are brand new. One such change is the introduction of Pokémon LV.X, replacing the retired Pokémon-ex and Pokémon-"star" cards. Three holographic Pokemon cards from this set were released in tin sets a few weeks prior to the set's launch. These tins included a Tyranitar tin featuring a Turtwig, a Camerupt tin featuring a Chimchar and a Milotic tin featuring a Piplup. Diamond & Pearl features over 120 cards, including more than 50 brand-new Pokémon for players to collect for the very first time. In Diamond & Pearl, players will explore the never-before-seen Sinnoh region in search of all-new Pokémon like the legendary Dialga and Palkia. With new gameplay including the exciting Pokémon LV.X that make Pokémon more powerful new attacks, and even a new look that incorporates Pokédex information for each Pokémon, Diamond & Pearl will take every player to the next level. The Pokémon TCG: Diamond & Pearl expansion will be available in three 60-card theme decks Terra Firma, Inferno Zone, and Royal Frost—and in booster packs. Each booster pack features 10 randomly inserted game cards. Theme decks include a unique coin, an updated rulebook, card list, a one-player playmat, and damage counters.
The game is centered on the concept of the Pokémon battle. All Pokémon have attacks and Hit Points (HP); by doing damage to the opponents Pokémon equal to their Hit Points, the player can knock them out and send them to the discard pile. Pokémon are the basis of all decks. Energy are cards attached to a Pokémon to enable it to attack. Trainers are support cards that allow players to do something to enhance the game. Some can remove damage counters from Pokémon, remove energy from the opposing Pokémon, or revive Pokémon that have been knocked out. There are many other types of Trainers and Of particular value are draw and search cards. Pokémon Cards Resources:
