A little about pokemon and Promos. Kids who "gota catch ' em all" are being challenged to discover and obtain the complete set of Wizards of the Coast Special black-star pokemon promos. The first well known set consists of four given with the purchase of tickets for The First Movie Cards. These have not only a black star under the image, but also a number in the bottom right corner. Although the cards are numbered sequentially, they're not always released in that order. Since the first four movie's were so common and plentiful, they weren't considered very valuable or important at first. Mewtwo became one of the games most valuable in a tournament. Many players are hoarding them for there battle decks and refusing to trade them. Second the four movie cards are now considered the starting point for assembling a complete collection of promos. The four movie cards cannot be found in booster packs, starter packs or theme decks. Other promos are acquired only through the league, while some come with a special purchase or magazine subscription or given out at the tournaments and other special events.
