Pokemon cards Charizard G LV.X Supreme Victors Platinum Series

Here is an article on Charizard G LV.X Supreme Victors. I hope you find the information useful!

The release of Pokemon Platinum: Supreme Victors brought with it one of the most anticipated cards yet...a new Charizard. This new Charizard is different from all previous Charizards in that it is not an evolution card, but a basic! Charizard G is an SP type Pokemon, which in itself means that it is a basic Pokemon card and is able to use all the SP specific Trainer and Energy cards out there for its benefit. Before I delve into the analysis of the Level X, I feel it is first necessary to take a look at the basic non-Level X form of Charizard G. The card has 100 HP, which is great for a basic Pokemon, and has a resistance to fighting types. This can come in handy when playing against a deck like Machamp. The card does have a hefty retreat of three and a double weakness to water Pokemon, but it does have two nice attacks. "Flame Jet" only takes 2 Energy (1 if you have a TG's Invention Energy Gain attached) and can do 40 damage to any of your opponent's Pokemon, given coin flip of heads. This can be helpful in setting Pokemon up for easy knock outs later in the game.

Its second attack, "Heat Blast", does a simple 50 damage for 3 energy (2 if you have Energy Gain attached). 50 damage is a nice number when coupled with the initial 40 that "Flame Jet" can do; this will knock out a lot of Pokemon.
The card by itself may not be noteworthy, but it is a necessity for leveling up to Charizard G LV.X. This bad boy gives you 20 extra HP to help avoid attaining critical damage. It has the same bottom stats as its basic form, but boy does it get upgrade in other departments. Charizard G LV.X's Poke-Power "Call for Power" allows you to move Energy from your other Pokemon to Charizard G LV.X as often as you like during your turn. This makes Charizard a threat at any point in the game. Even if you have no energy on Charizard G before you level up, the LV.X allows you to become energized instantaneously. This really makes Charizard G LV.X a formidable force. And of course, Charizard G LV.X carries an gnarly attack, "Malevolent Fire". If you have a TG's Invention Energy Gain attached, you will be doing 150 damage for only 4 Energies! It is insane how this card can do that much damage, seemingly out of nowhere thanks to its Poke-Power. There of course is the downside that you could lose all 4 energies, but there are a couple ways you can play around that. Heatran LV.X has a Poke-Power called "Heat Wave" that allows you to attach 2 Energy discarded from an attack back to your Fire Pokemon at the end of your turn. So if you were to get tails with "Malevolent Fire", you could put 2 of those 4 energy back onto Charizard G LV.X. That to me seems like a lifesaver. Another Pokemon that can aid Charizard is Typhlosion from Mysterious Treasures. Typhlosion's Poke-Power, "Firestarter", allows you to attach Fire Energy cards from your discard pile to your benched Pokemon. Do this, then simply use "Call for Power" to move those Energy card onto Charizard G LV.X so it can attack again. To sum it up, Charizard G LV.X is a beast. 150 damage is going to knock nearly every single Pokemon card out in one hit. Use it with either Heatran LV.X or Typhlosion, so that even if you get tails with "Malevolent Flame", you can still keep the heat on your opponent.

The game is centered on the concept of the Pokemon battle. All Pokemon have attacks and Hit Points (HP); by doing damage to the opponents Pokémon equal to their Hit Points, the player can knock them out and send them to the discard pile.

Pokemon are the basis of all decks. Energy are cards attached to a Pokemon to enable it to attack. Trainers are support cards that allow players to do something to enhance the game. Some can remove damage counters from Pokémon, remove energy from the opposing Pokémon, or revive Pokémon that have been knocked out. There are many other types of Trainers and Of particular value are draw and search cards.
